— The results of an investigation into the death of Dallas police officer Victor Lozada, who died on February 22 while escorting Sen. Hillary Clinton's motorcade to a rally, revealed that he did not handle a curve in the road properly.

From the investigator's report:

"[Lozada] was traveling south on Houston St. viaduct with emergency equipment on. The roadway at this point turns dramatically to the right. [He] was unable to negotiate the curve and collided with the east guardrail."

According to police, Lozada's failure to drive in a single lane of traffic was also a contributing factor.
