Gardener expert Neil Sperry to speak at Grand Prairie Library
Will there be pots? Probably. Pot? Probably not.
Join gardener, author and talk show host Neil Sperry for a frank and knowledgeable discussion about the trials and triumphs of Texas gardening at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, at the Main Library, 901 Conover Drive.
The free program is part of the Grand Prairie Library’s “What’s Next… for the Next Stage of your Life” series. For more information, call 972-237-5700.
Neil Sperry has broadcast over KRLD (1080 AM) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area since 1980 and was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2003. His daily and weekend radio programs are heard on more than 60 stations statewide.
He publishes “Neil Sperry’s GARDENS Magazine” and an annual Texas Gardening Calendar. He is the author of “Neil Sperry’s Complete Guide to Texas Gardening,” the fourth best-selling gardening hardback in American history. Neil also is featured weekly in 20 Texas newspapers, including the Fort Worth Star Telegram and the San Antonio Express News.
