— The Intense Football League Office announced Richard Morris as one of the Week 2 IFL Players of the Week. After a high-scoring 66-63 victory over the Katy Ruff Riders that came down to the final seconds, it was a no-brainer that a Thunder player would receive offensive honors for the second consecutive week.

The Offensive Player of the Week in the IFL honor went to WR Richard Morris of the Frisco Thunder. Morris led the way with 14 receptions for 150 yards, scoring 3 touchdowns of 10,10, and 15 yards. More importantly, Morris made a good portion of his catches on 3rd downs that kept the Frisco drives going. Frisco quarterback Wes Cooper won the award last week.
