One park ceremony down, one to go in Grand Prairie
On March 1st, the City of Grand Prairie celebrated the opening of Good Link Trail, the first of two Texas-sized (that means "big") trail openings this spring.
Good Link Trail connects C.P. Waggoner Park (2122 N Carrier Pky) with Mike Lewis Park (2600 N. Carrier Parkway).
So mark your calendar for Saturday, April 5, for the grand opening of the Lone Star Trail. The trail begins by the Grand Prairie Tourist Information Center, 2170 N. Belt Line, goes south along Belt Line, turns east along the Trinity River, and then turns back north to connect with the city of Irving.
