Dallas county commissioners voted to consolidate sheriff and constable dispatchers

The Dallas county commissioners voted Tuesday to consolidate and centralize the dispatch offices of the Dallas county constables and sheriff's offices. The new operation is likely to be moved into the new emergency operations facility that is scheduled to start construction later this year.
