Richland Hills man pulled over by imposter police officer
James Mosley, 21, was just blocks from his home when he was pulled over in the 7000 block of Hovenkamp Avenue in Richland Hills early Wednesday morning. The man who pulled him over, however, was not an actual police officer. Appearing to be a plain clothes cop, the man grabbed for Mosley's wallet when he was getting his ID. After a struggle, Mosley drove off. The suspect followed him for a bit before going in an opposite direction.
This is one of several cases in the last year of people impersonating police officers.
