City Council votes to honor Turk Cannady
Cannaday is a long-term major and councilman in the city and not actually Turkish.
Long-term Cedar Hill Mayor and City Councilman T.W. "Turk" Cannady now has his memory enshrined for future generations.
March 4, the Cedar Hill City Council voted to name the meeting room at the new Government Center after Cannady. His daughter, Gail Cannady Bedford, was present for the vote.
