UT Southwestern docs recommend green: Irish or not

DISCLAIMER: I have no idea whether shamrocks are edible, because they are not among the green fruits and vegetables mentioned by nutritionists at UT Southwestern Medical Center in relation to a healthy diet.

What I can report is that the medicos want you to eat lots of avocado, broccolini (a cross btwn. broccoli and Chinese kale), Brussels sprouts, kale, nopales (cactus pads), okra and tomatillo (which conveniently appears in many salsas verde).

I can also report that the good medical staff at the UTSW are shamelessly using the tie-in between green and St. Patrick's Day to remind everyone about these dietary recommendations.

Aside from the fact that you can go here to learn more about all the things you're supposed to eat (and not eat), that's the end of the story.
