Fort Worth has threatened to say "Ni" if KISD does not appease it.

Fort Worth has threatened to say "Ni" if KISD does not appease it.

After finding what appeared to be a perfect vacant lot for a new high school and elementary schools, Keller ISD is about to write an unexpected check for $500,000. It turns out that the vacant space is technically in Fort Worth. And Fort Worth wants it some trees. More specifically, the city has a tree ordinance to prevent storm water runoff and requests that Keller ISD pony up the money for planting about 500 trees.

KISD is talking with lawyers in hopes of lowering the number of trees so that money can be put into the schools themselves.
