The Dallas-based USA Film Festival, which has celebrated and showcased the best new independent short and feature films from around the world for the better part of four decades, has announced their program dates for 2008 (their 38th year).
Screenings and other festival events (which will all take place at the Angelika Film Center Dallas) will run from April 21 - 27.
While the specific films and times will not be announced until early April, festival organizers promise that the seven-day schedule will include appearances by (and discussions with) dozens of celebrity and filmmaker guests, along with special tributes. Also on tap will be an Academy-qualified National Short Film & Video Competition, featuring cash awards in a range of categories.
To receive a schedule of programs and guest appearances (once one becomes available), direct your browser to their website or call the USA Festival Film Office at 214-821-FILM (3456).
The USA Film Festival is supported in part by the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs.
