City of Heath 5K walk/run this Saturday
On Saturday, March 29, the City of Heath (on the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard) will be holding its "Heart of Heath" 5K walk/run.
Registration cost for the event is $20 (after 3/25), or $10 for ages 14 and under, with proceeds benefiting the Heath Trail System.
This "rain or shine" event will be followed by a pancake breakfast (to replace those depleted carbs), awards and prize drawings.
The top male and female finishers in each category (men age 14 & under; men age 15+ under 200 lbs.; men age 15+ over 200 lbs.; women age 14 & under; women age 15+ under 160 lbs.; and women age 15+ over 160 lbs.) will each receive a pair of Asics running shoes, and all registrants receive a cotton t-shirt (while supplies last).
