Irving authorities seeking woman in ‘80s 4-door Caprice who threw dog out car window

— Irving Animal Services is seeking the identity of the horrendous lady in the black 1980s four-door Caprice with oxidized paint who was driving eastbound on Rock Island Road around 8 a.m. on March 20 when she rolled down her window and dangled Patrick, a miniature pinscher, from the window, before dropping him onto the road.

The dog survived, but has bruises, road rash, and is in recovery. The woman's vile actions were spotted by a sharp-eyed, admirable, praise-worthy motorcyclist. Be nice to motorcyclists.

When the woman is caught, she'll be cited and may also face criminal charges. There are a ton of apartment buildings on Rock Island Road, so it seems possible she came from one of those places, such as the Rock Island Apartments or the Irving Oaks Apartments.

The weird thing is that the Animal Shelter isn't far from where the dog was dropped at all. Speaking of, if you want to see the dog, he can be viewed at DFW Humane, under Guardian Angel Fund.

Meanwhile, if you have information, call 972-253-3333.
