DALLAS Join 40 of the top chefs in Dallas at the annual "Dining Out in Dallas," an event that benefits the Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation. On Wednesday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the Frontiers of Flight Museum, there will be a live auction with chefs in Dallas/Ft. Worth's cuisine arena from restaurants such as Abacus, Blue Canyon, The Capital Grille, Del Frisco's, III Forks, Nobu Dallas, The Palm, Shinsei, and Tillman's.
All chefs will prepare a delectable meal for the winning parties at each of his or hers restaurants. Restaurant assignments will go the highest bidder at the silent table auction during the party. Private dining to be selected on a mutually agreed upon date with the chef between April 2 - October 2.
The party begins at 6:30 p.m., with samplings from select area restaurants, complimentary wine from Barefoot Cellars, vodka bar by Zodiac Spirits, and live entertainment by Hunter Sullivan.
As a table sponsor, a party of 10 guests will enjoy a dining experience prepared by an executive chef from over 40 area restaurants, with a 4-course menu paired with wine.
The live auction features executive chefs battling for a chance to serve you and your guests to an unforgettable dining experience. Other live and silent auction items spotlight unique adventures in travel and food. Tickets will be available at the door for $50.
As in years past, 40 of Dallas' best chefs are participating, but this year, they will all be present at the April 2 event allowing guests to bid for a dinner event (a 4-course meal with wine for ten guests) at each chef's restaurant.
This year, the Junior Chef is 10-year old Molly Johnson, who lives with NF. Molly's mother, Susan, is the president of the Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation.
