Mesquite private school for disabled might be forced to shut down
Meadowview is the only school for students with learning disabilities on the east side of Dallas.
Meadowview Private School in Mesquite—a 25-year-old facility dedicated to the physically and mentally disabled—might be forced to close its doors in May.
The school, long-riddled with financial troubles, is struggling to provide for its 50 students.
After a parent-teacher-student meeting in early March, the school has resolved it must come up with $315,000 by May 14th, or else.
