Former meteorologist and environmentalist to address Burleson Heritage Foundation
BURLESON Everything you wanted to know about meteorologists, you can learn at the Tuesday, April 8, meeting of the Burleson Heritage Foundation.
Clint Bourland, a former employee for NBC Channel 5, is the guest speaker. Bourland started working for NBC in 1949. He will talk about Harold Taft, the longtime meteorologist for the local affiliate.
The May 13 meeting will feature Bianca Chafin, environmental programs specialist for the City of Burleson and the executive director of Keep Burleson Beautiful.
The Burleson Heritage Foundation meets at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at the Heritage Visitors Center at 124 W. Ellison (the corner of Wilson and Ellison streets) in Old Town Burleson.
