Heath City Council Agenda for April 1

Not the sort of fence planned for 205 Rush Creek Drive - though perhaps the neighbors might look into this

When the Heath City Council meets at city hall on April 1, they'll be discussing - after the usual formalities (call to order, invocation, drawing of straws) - the proposed five year capital improvement program centering on public works; the construction agreement with Dirtco (dba Styles Contracting) for rehabilitation of McDonald Road and Yankee Creek Road; the extension of an 18-inch water transmission line on FM 550 and McDonald Road; a proposal to declare all unopposed candidates for the offices of Mayor and City Council as having been defacto elected to the positions for which they were running; and the feasibility of economic development corporation sales tax revenue bonds (and alternative funding measures) for planned infrastructure improvements to the 75-acre tract of land situated in the E. Teal Survey, owned by the city, the Heath Economic Development Corporation and the Heath Municipal Benefits Corporation.

Perhaps most pertinent to residents of the affected neighborhood, there will be a discussion regarding a request for variance to a section of the city code to allow a 6' wrought iron fence at 205 Rush Creek Drive.

There will be an executive (closed) session of council following the regular meeting, during which who knows what will be discussed.
