As the weather becomes nicer (albeit oppressively humid at the moment), watch for the city-sponsored Spring and Summer concert series to start up. North Richland Hills recently announced the lineup for their popular Sounds of Spring concert series, which features a really low cover price, as in, free. So, so free.
Sounds of Spring kicks off on April 4 with The Texas Gypsies. All the shows are family friendly and take place on Friday nights at the NRH2O Waterpark. Gate open at 6 p.m. with music starting at 7 p.m. In addition to the live music, there will activities for the kids, and the first show will feature a fireworks display following the music.

- Friday, April 18 – Songs of Sinatra featuring David Hallum and His Big Band

Lord bless Charlie Mops, the man who invented beer, beer, beer, tiddly beer, beer, beer..." I have my beer drinking song ready. Do you? More info
