Sex offender still on Wilmer ballot for mayoral race
Despite having withdrawn from the Wilmer mayoral race in late March, registered sex offender Brian Sliter remains on the ballot due to a loophole that limited the time in which his name could be removed. There is currently no contingency plan in place should Sliter wind up receiving the most amount of votes.
