Casa Mañana's summer season always manages to bring some celebrities to town. From June 3 - 8, their production of The Fantasticks will star Lorenzo Lamas known for hits such as "Falcon Crest" and Succubus: Hell Bent. Tickets went on sale today and can be purchased online or by calling 817-332-2272.

This timeless musical tells the story of a young couple who fall madly in love at the hands of their meddling matchmaking fathers, but soon grow restless and stray from one another. Will their separation provide a deeper appreciation for the love they once shared or create a permanent gulf between them? With music by Harvey Schmidt and lyrics by Tom Jones, this special engagement will be directed by Tom Jones himself, and features the beloved songs “Try To Remember,” “Soon It’s Gonna Rain,” “Much More,” and “I Can See It.”

The Fantasticks is a celebration of love – first love, lost love, and ultimately, true love – and has delighted audiences across the world, including a record breaking run in New York, where it became the longest running musical production ever.

Here is a trailer from one of Lamas's movies, Snake Eater 2: The Drug Buster, to get you hyped:

He is also an adjunct faculty member at UNT where he teaches jazz arranging. Sato is also heading into the studio soon with other area musicians and playing at the Scat Jazz Lounge tonight. With all that he's up to, the least you could do is order a Scotch on the rocks and chill to some tunes. (Photo by flickr user arteunporro. More info
