Lisa Garza, co-owner of Dallas restaurant Suze and a contestant on The Next Food Network Star, will appear at Williams Sonoma in Highland Park Village on Saturday May 10, for "cooking demonstrations and food samplings".
Given the fact that there's a very good possibility Garza will win the show, it is clearly not a moment too soon for you to start currying favor with someone who will very likely, imminently, be semi-famous. Even if she doesn't WIN win, she will definitely be a finalist. And her name is going to be on everyone's lips all this summer as her performance on the weekly show will be scrutinized by any otherwise uninterested local blog scrambling for Google hits.
Given the fact that Garza usually handles the front of the house at Suze (her husband Gilbert is the chef), it will be interesting to see what "cooking demonstrations" she performs.
Her appearance starts at 1 p.m.
