High-rise apartment building going into the spot in Uptown Dallas where Hard Rock Cafe used to be
DALLAS The Landes Group, the developer who bought the vacated Hard Rock Cafe, then created an uproar when he razed it, will build a 16-story apartment complex on the site, says Unfair Park. It'll have 141 apartment units, a fitness center, rooftop pool, and an LED screen.

Dallas is dead anyway. The two largest employers are the Family Courts and the Police Department, the streets are a warzone after dark. Hmmmmm, more victims in a compact area.

I was by there today in location of the Mckinney Ave area and saw the tractor stuff that moves the mud around, and the old Hard Rock Cafe was a good burger place, but in Dallas things get old, say why cant old things hang out, we have, anyho...the rock was built in 1907, by the First Baptist church, by J.Frank Norris, the Elmer Gantry character, they say, and he was run out of Dallas by 1908. or 09, hard to say, but he got to Ft Worth and stayed, thus he ran out alcohol in the old Hell's Half Acres by 1914, and made the city pretty sane for the insane, and so that was his legacey to Dallas a future spots center...
