Dallas police nab guy with ATM in his car in Deep Ellum early Tuesday

DALLAS — Dallas police pulled over a car early Tuesday morning that had an ATM in it. Awesome.

The police saw the suspects steal the cash machine from the Velvet Hookah Bar. They followed it for a block. They pulled it over. They arrested one suspect. But the awful part is that they let two guys get away.

One supposes that being a cop is difficult work and one supposes that the correct response here is gratitude that they spotted the theft and were able to pull over the car and arrest one suspect. But jeez.

The DMN says that "late night and early morning thefts of ATM machines" have become more frequent.
