Next Uncle Barky Show to showcase feud between Pete Delkus and Dale Hansen
Pete Delkus and Dale Hansen, whose nightly squabbles spice up Channel 8’s top rated evening newscast, make their first joint appearance out of the TV studio on The Uncle Barky Show on Saturday, May 17. Faceoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
The monthly live show, held at Stratos Global Greek Taverna, enables people to talk about the media and meet local radio and television personalities.
Bark, the TV critic for The Dallas Morning News for 26 years who now runs the Web site UncleBarky.com, will attempt to referee between the wisecracking weatherman and the sarcastic sports guy. As always, Bark will interview the guests before entertaining questions from the crowd.
“Maybe I’ll get a word in edgewise and maybe I won’t,” Bark said. “But either way it should be a lot of fun. These are two of the most popular personalities on Dallas/Fort Worth TV, and they’ll be the first to tell you that.”
Admission is free, and Stratos promises Uncle Barky Show food and drink specials all day. Pegasus News videotapes every episode of The Uncle Barky Show for its website and broadcast on cable access television.
