Animal Rescue of Texas (ART), in partnership with the Art Institute of Dallas, will host an event featuring music, food, cocktails and a silent auction of art, jewelry, wine and etc. on Sat., May 17.
The location will be Manny Rodriguez Photography (at 100 Parkhouse St. in Dallas) with the festivities running from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.; all proceeds go to benefit ART, whose mission is to save the lives of homeless animals and educate North Texans in the humane treatment of their animal companions.
Tickets are $65 each and can be purchased by going here (scroll to bottom of page); or by contacting Shelley Atkins at attr2008@yahoo.com.
Graphic design students from the Art Institute created the invitations and direct mail pieces used to promote the event, while interior design students came up with the design of the soirée itself.
