PanAmerican ArtProjects will present a party and talk with artist and product designer Brad Oldham on Thursday, May 15th 6-8 p.m. as a fundraiser for the Video Association of Dallas. Oldham will talk on “Collaboration, Not Isolation.” Drinks, hors d’oeuvres and gift bags from Modern Luxury Dallas Magazine will be offered. A live creative collaboration with Brad's sister, Robin Oldham, a mosiac artist who owns Smashing Times, also will be offered for partygoers. The value of this unique event and gift bag will well exceed the suggested donation of $20 to be collected at the door. The free exhibition that will be on display will be the artwork of Isabelle du Toit.

Brad Oldham is a sculptor with the mind of an engineer who enjoys creating artistic, useful pieces. Oldham established his stand-alone company in 1998 to design and produce architectural elements for hotels, restaurants, upscale residences and projects undergoing historic restoration. The company, known today as Brad Oldham, Inc., builds upon Oldham’s highly regarded tenure with the country’s top interior design firms and discriminating private art collectors.

Brad Oldham, Inc. designs and manufactures lighting, hardware, tile, fine furnishings, architectural features and sculpture. The company’s design philosophy is firmly rooted in collaboration – the topic of the May 15th event. Oldham will also talk about the company’s manufacturing philosophy grown from his belief that creativity can be more accessible.

Oldham’s custom art and products have been featured on Good Morning America and in Architectural Digest, Better Homes & Gardens, Veranda, House & Garden, The Dallas Morning News, and other national and local publications. You may have seen his work in Texas at CRAFT Restaurant at the W Hotel, LFT Victory Park, or one of the almost twenty courthouse historic renovations on which the company has worked. In Las Vegas, you may have enjoyed his work at The Belligio, The Palms Casino, Red Rock Casino, The Venetian Resort, Hotel & Casino and The Wynn. Other project work includes Nobu Restaurant in New York, Watercolor Inn in Florida, and Emeril’s in New Orleans.
