DALLAS Gay List Daily, a swank e-publication (and Pegasus News content partner) 'dedicated to making trendy gays even more trendy and gay,' will launch three new editions in the coming weeks -- New York City and Los Angeles, as well as a National "anywhere" edition. Gay List Daily has been publishing a Dallas edition since late October 2007.
Subscribers can sign up for free and receive Gay List Daily in their email inboxes every morning (Monday - Friday). Each issue highlights one single item that the publication's editor and writers think subscribers would enjoy reading about. City-specific editions also include a localized weekend guide on Thursdays that focuses on events, community activities and other fun happenings for the upcoming weekend.
"Our coming out in Dallas was received with rave reviews and a legion of fans. We're looking to recreate that experience in cities across the United States," said Cooper Smith, editor-in-chief and publisher of Gay List Daily. "Now that we've got our infrastructure in place -- and it's worked beautifully week after week in Dallas -- we're ready to spread 'gay' across the USA!"
According to Smith, Gay List Daily writers don't focus specifically on 'gay' things per se, but rather look at the world around them and review things from a fun, sassy gay perspective.
"If there's a new restaurant, undiscovered clothing store or hilarious website that we think our readers would find interesting, we're on it! Our goal is to have fun and make people laugh, all while giving them an inside-edge on the latest and greatest going on around them," he added.
