Wake up.

Hello voters, fest-goers, Stars' fans and Momma's boys (and girls):

If you're one or more of the above, it's a good week for you. Local elections are Saturday and we've got a wealth of data on local candidates and their campaign contributors. Check in late Saturday and through the wee hours of Sunday for all your results.

Once you've done your civic duty, you've got your pick of spring festivals to fill your ears with music and your belly with funnel cake. On Sunday, don't forget Mom-- we've got a complete guide of events and brunches to fete your materfamilias.

We're bribing you with free Radiohead tix and more!

You know that sold out Radiohead show next week? We've got two pair of free tickets up for grabs ... There's still a little time to win a free class at Make by checking out this weekend's Urban Street Bazaar ... Denton County readers might want to try for a free dinner at Raphael's ... We still have five pair of ticketsto the Beatles tribute night at Oak Point Amphitheater up for grabs.

Metro

If you want to know what's going to happen in the local elections, check out this video roundtable with some of our content partners. McKinneyNews.net goes deeper on that city's races as well as Collin County races. Best Southwest Citizen says Lancaster may have its first African-American mayor and also digs into Duncanville races. The Arlington League of Women Voters explains the Tomorrow Funds' influence on the elections. While many are trying to be elected to local office, some of Corinth's top officials flew the coop. Carrollton Mayor Becky Miller might want to do the same. Laura S. caught the immigration rally in Downtown Dallas.

Game

It's all about The Stars right now, and The Cupcheck likes our chances. The Rangers continue to do whatever they do. Meantime, McKinney approved a new StarCenter.

Bidness

Locally based chain Razzoo's got in trouble for oppressing men. Dallas-based GodTube should have a healthy tithe after taking in $30 million from a hedge fund.

Sounds

We were at Mayfest in force as were content partners West and Clear, and reader Randy Tarver contributed a review and video of The Gourds' performance. PegNews reader Ron Dempesmeier caught the reunited Asia at the HOB as well as Jimmy LaFave in Fort Worth.

Eats

Best Bites covered new restaurants The Vault and Mumtaz and dove into our ongoing obsession with Frogurt. Look for this week's edition on the dining hub Friday. There's a new GM at Nove Italiano, and some of our readers think that the restaurant's struggles are indicative of larger ills at Victory. And our staffers bravely took on a new winegarita concoction to see if it was fit for your consumption.

Flix

Check in on the movie page on Friday for reviews of What Happens in Vegas, Speed Racer, Son of Rambow (with filmmaker interviews), Then She Found Me (previously screened at AFI), The Babysitters and Girls Rock!.

Artsy

The Dallas Center for Performing Arts celebrated a "topping out." We've got video of artist Jason Mehl at the ArtLoveMagic event. Rick Elina from the North Dallas Gazette liked Word of Mouth's musical production of Treasure Island. In the weekly theater spotlight, Shawn interviews Brad McEntire on Audacity Theater Lab and their highly anticipated opener, The Most Beautiful Lullaby You've Ever Heard.

All you need is love
