Lancaster mayoral candidate lied about address

The mayoral campaign of Morris Mosley is now in a tailspin after he told the Dallas Morning News he doesn’t live at the address on his voter registration card. Or the one on his ballot application, for that matter.

Mosley told the News “threats over his candidacy” warranted the deception. Thus he gave his brother’s address on his application to run and a former address on a Morning News questionnaire.

Further complicating matters was a Duncanville arrest for a traffic ticket in which Mosley gave a third address, this one in Duncanville. More on this chaos as it unfolds.

Morris Mosley is up to more than that! I moved into a lovely rental home in Cedar Hill three weeks ago, where I signed a year's lease and paid a deposit and first months rent to the tune of $1400.00 to a company called STS Property Management. This morning, I was woken by a Constable knocking at my door, here to serve me my eviction papers. What?!? I just got here. I'm not late with rent. What is happening? It was explained that the house I was renting had been foreclosed, and my new lease was not even valid, for it was a contract with neither the property's former foreclosed owner nor the current legal owner- the bank. I was advised to procure a lawyer and that I had eleven days to vacate. Apparently, STS Property Management does not exist and the man who represented STS is pulling a fast one over on me. This man showed me several vacant area houses to choose from. This man has keys to my own front door. This man, after the Constable left, answered my many questions over the phone with a "Don't worry about it." followed by a request to pay next month's rent two days early- in cash. This man apparently checks foreclosure lists, scopes out the vacancy of these foreclosed houses he does not own, has a locksmith put new keys in their doors, and rents these houses he doesn't even own to unsuspecting saps like me- pocketing their rent and deposits for as long as he can until the banks and real owners evict these saps who aren't legally supposed to be there in the first place. This man is Morris Mosley.
