2008 Cedar Hill election results
Fun fact -- there are neither cedars nor many hills in Cedar Hill. Okay, I made that up, but it'd be fun if it were true.
CEDAR HILL Cedar Hillians (Hillites?) didn't have a lot to vote on Saturday. Three seats were technically up for grabs on the Cedar Hill ISD Board of Trustees, although Valerie Banks and Dan Hernandez were both running unopposed for Place 3 and Place 4, respectively. In the Place 5 race, Michael Quildon will take over for the outgoing Randy Gaubert, defeating challenger James Charles, 60.59% to 39.41%.
In city council races, Daniel C. Haydin Jr. won re-election for Place 2 unopposed. In the Place 6 race, incumbent Clifford Shaw easily defeated challenger Wirt "Stoney" Jackson, 64.52% to 35.48%.
