If your regular driving routine includes a cruise along westbound lanes of Arkansas Lane in Arlington, you may want to detour during the week of May 12-16, when the city plans to turn the eastbound side of the street into a two-lane two-way so repairs can be made to a water pipeline.
The portion of the road affected will be from Midhurst to Valleydale (east of West Green Oak Blvd., near the Pierce Burch Water Treatment Plant).
Suggested alternate routes to avoid the inevitable traffic snarl: Spur 303 or Pioneer Parkway.
