Flower Mound throws fab shredding party on May 17

Bring your social security numbers, credit card receipts, paycheck stubs, and love letters from your illicit affairs.

— Flower Mound is hosting "Flower Mound Recycles" Day, an electronic waste and document shredding event, on Saturday May 17, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Gerault Park, 1200 Gerault Road.

Electronic waste includes items such as keyboards, CPUs, radios, microwaves, disks, phones, etc. The event is free for all waste, except for TVs for which a $10 charge will be charge.

Document shredding is limited to three boxes per resident, and no three-ring binders will be accepted. Bring ALL your confidential documents: your social security numbers, credit card receipts, paycheck stubs, and income tax records. Your computer passwords, political party mailing lists, photos of your neighbors, and coworkers' personal emails. Your love letters from extramarital romances, ransom notes, and contracts to assassinate family members with large fortunes.
