On May 10, voters in the Town of Double Oak turned out to fill three council places by choosing from a slate of six candidates.
Tracy Miller, Dick Cook, Lewis Lowe, Tom Pidcock, John Dondrea and Sam Rogers squared off to find out who among them would be still standing (and, in terms of musical chairs, thereby OUT) as a result of having accumulated the fewest votes.
With the results finalized, Dick Cook pulled down the most votes with 289, followed by John Dondrea with 244. However, both Tracy Miller and Tom Pidcock garnered 204 votes, leading to a jump-ball call for the third council seat.
