FLOWER MOUND Flower Mound Mayor Jody Smith is still Flower Mound Mayor, having run unopposed, but two council seats were decided: Challenger Steve Dixon was unable to topple incumbent Al Filidoro for his seat on in Place 2, with Filidoro earning 1,606 votes to Dixon's 1,317.
And in Place 4, Virginia M. Jellison and Jean M. Levenick went neck and neck for the seat vacated by Laurie Long, with Levenick beating Jellison by a mere 45 votes, 1,445 to 1,400.
