2008 Garland election results
After two different three-way battles, the dust has settled in the city Garland.
John D. Willis ousted Jackie Feagin, city council member Place 5 and Deputy Mayor Pro Tem, with 55.66% of the vote (or 575 of the total 1,033 votes cast).
Meanwhile, a three-way race for Place 4 on the Garland ISD Board of Trustees resulted in:
- Cindy Castaneda - 47.53% (or 2,033 out of 4,277 votes)
- Jeff Johnson - 38.93% (or 1,665 out of 4,277 votes)
- Stephen W. Stanley - 13.54% (or 579 out of 4,277 votes)
Because no candidate received at least 51%, it's believed but unclear at this time if there will be a run-off. Stay tuned.
