DALLAS Attorney Steven H. Stodghill has earned selection among the country's top business litigation attorneys in the April 2008 issue of Super Lawyers Corporate Counsel Edition.
Mr. Stodghill is a principal in the Dallas office of Fish & Richardson P.C., where he concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation and intellectual property disputes.
"It is always great to be honored for your work," says Mr. Stodghill. "To know that the attorneys I work with and against consider me among the best in the country is incredibly rewarding."
The attorneys honored in Super Lawyers Corporate Counsel Edition previously were included in the Super Lawyers listings in the individual states where they practice. Mr. Stodghill has earned a spot on the Texas Super Lawyers list each year it has been published. In the 2003 inaugural issue, he was profiled in the feature story, "The Dark Knight," about his work and relationships with high-profile clients and friends such as entertainment moguls Mark Cuban and Todd Wagner, as well as film stars Chris Tucker, Luke Wilson and Owen Wilson.
To compile the Texas Super Lawyers listing, more than 70,000 attorneys across the state are asked to submit nominations for attorneys whose work they admire most. A blue-ribbon panel of attorneys and legal scholars then assists Super Lawyers editors with final selections, and fewer than 5 percent of the state's attorneys are chosen for the honor each year.
