Yet another failed theft of an ATM in Dallas

It's just the latest in a familiar pattern: thieves thirsty for a quick cash infusion attempted to make off with an automated teller machine.

This time they didn't get far, because a) the machine was big and heavy, and b) the thieves apparently were without wheels, and tried to simply DRAG the cash-conferring robot down the street.

The machine in question was heisted (briefly) from a Prosperity Bank branch in the 2400 block of South Westmoreland Rd.
