Addison City Council to discuss donut shops and new roofs
Today is the first City Council meeting after elections, although I believe the usual suspects are the same. The work session before the meeting will be for discussions regarding the Arbor Foundation and Hotel Business Support Program. Some of the highlights of regular session include:
- The meeting will begin with a presentation to "Wipe Out Kid's Cancer."
- There will be a public hearing to approve a Special Use Permit for a restaurant at 4900 Belt Line Road for a donut store.
- Discussion and approval of construction and streetscape improvements in the Asbury Circle town home development.
- Discussion and consideration of approval to reject bids for roof repairs to the Addison Athletic Club, Theatre Centre and the re-roofing of Surveyor Pump Station.
The rest of the meeting is dedicated to planning and zoning type stuff, as well as more land acquisition.
