— It was a sellout for Actifirm(R), a manufacturer of science-based skin care using natural botanicals, in its first hour-long show on QVC Saturday, May 10.

QVC program host Sandra Bennett and Actifirm president Elysiann Bishop presented six Actifirm products, including 10% Z-Peel(R); Face Firm(TM); Renovation Cream; Renovation Eye Cream; Actilash(TM); and a special four-piece discovery kit with Actifirm products for cleansing, exfoliating and moisturizing skin.

The QVC appearance marked one of the first times Actifirm products, long popular with doctors and professional aestheticians, were sold explicitly for women to use at home.

"It's so exciting to sell out on our first hour appearance," Ms. Bishop said. "At the QVC Beauty Bash I talked to many QVC customers -- and one theme was consistent: Almost every woman I met said she wanted a skin care line that, above all, worked, but was also a simple regimen that was easy to use, safe from harmful additives and affordable. Since part of our company is dedicated to processing natural botanicals and another part is dedicated to manufacturing, we were able to provide the exact products these women were asking for."
