Grapevine Springs Community Center, projected for completion in Spring of 2009

Designed to replace the existing Senior Center on S. Coppell Road, the City of Coppell will hold groundbreaking ceremonies on May 15 (unless the rain puts a literal damper on things - keep an eye on the radar) for a new facility dubbed the Grapevine Springs Community Center. Numerous city council and staff plan to attend the event.

Located at 345 Bethel Road overlooking the rolling hills of Grapevine Springs Park, the new center will sport a fitness room, activity room, arts & crafts room and a kitchen.

Senior Center Manager Ester Moreno will continue to organize field trips originating from the new facility, scheduled for completion in Spring of 2009 - assuming the weather cooperates.
