“I am both honored and thrilled to have the opportunity to serve in this leadership position,” Dr. Holden-Huchton said. “The College of Nursing has a national reputation for excellence in its bachelor’s, master’s, Ph.D. and the new doctorate of nurse practice program.
“The exceptional faculty are dedicated to teaching, service and research of the highest quality, and our students are outstanding.”

She is also author or co-author of numerous publications and has made several presentations on topics related to nursing.
With more than 13,000 alumni and more than 2,400 undergraduate and graduate students in Denton, Dallas and Houston, TWU has the largest college of nursing in Texas and produces more new nurses than any other program in the state.
