Who are the dissenting votes? I am sure Angela Hunt is one. Who is the other?

John, according to Dallas Progress, the two dissenting votes were from Angela Hunt and Vonciel Jones Hill, with Elba Garcia and Mitchell Rasansky not voting due to conflicts.

OK, so we have a convention center, and we have a hotel. Now where are we gonna find the vibrant downtown nightlife that we will need?
Why would you choose Dallas over Chicago?

We've got lots of vibrant downtown night-life!
Wait, I meant abandoned ghost-town and hobo shivvings. Common typo.

It's funny you bring up Chicago. I have always thought the convention center hotel will become the next Cabrini-Green. There is absolutely no demand as a hotel so it's just a matter of time before "Hotel Leppart" becomes "Public Housing Project Leppart".

Robert Kelly, says:
I'll assume those points were for me Catherine.
So if they want warmer, why not Phoenix?
And cheaper airfare from where? Not the major population centers of the east coast.
I still don't see where conventioneers are going to go? Can ya help me with that?
