ROWLETT The newest edition of Rowlett On The Move is now available on the Web site. In addition to airing daily on RTN16, Rowlett’s cable channel, this one-hour monthly news talk show hosted by Mayor Harper and City Manager Craig Owens is now available through streaming video with the click of a button.
Rowlett On The Move, is produced by the City of Rowlett Communications Department and provides the latest information on projects and events of interest to Rowlett citizens. The May program covers topics such as the May 10 Election Day results, Rowlett's Economic Development Plan, and groundbreaking plans on the President George Bush Turnpike just to name a few.
The Mayor also interviews Mr. Owens as they both share information useful to Rowlett residents.
In the past, the program was only available on the City’s cable access channel 16 (Time Warner and Verizon), but is now available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the Web site. Other programming available online at the city’s website include City Council meetings, City Information, City Events, and other special City-related videos.
Comments and suggested topics from citizens for future programs are encouraged. Please submit your ideas or comments via the Mayor’s email address at mayor@rowlett.com.
