PETA lobbying Dallas Zoo to transfer lonely elephant to another zoo
DALLAS People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are lobbying the Dallas Zoo to shut down its elephant exhibit and find a new home for Jenny, the elephant who is now all alone ever since her cell-mate KeKe died last week.
The animal rights group said that elephants need to be with other elephants and need room to roam. Zoo officials acknowledge that the the remaining elephant shouldn't be left alone.
