Dallas firm Sayles Werbner adds attorney Stefani Carter

DALLAS The Dallas-based trial firm of Sayles Werbner, PC, announced today that experienced trial attorney Stefani Carter has joined the firm as a litigator. Sayles Werbner’s has stated that in acquiring Ms. Carter, they are attempting to attract top-tier courtroom lawyers for clients’ important courtroom matters.
Ms. Carter most recently worked as an assistant district attorney in Collin County. Prior to her work with the Collin County District Attorney, Ms. Carter compiled extensive courtroom experience handling litigation involving real estate disputes, products liability claims, and other matters while she was with the firm of Vinson & Elkins in Dallas.
“Stef Carter is an extremely bright and capable trial attorney who will be a great asset for our firm and our clients,” says Mark Werbner, co-founder of Sayles Werbner. “Her academic achievements and experience in both the private and public sector have provided her with a broad experience that is invaluable in the courtroom.”
Ms. Carter earned her law degree from Harvard Law School after earning her master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. In addition, Ms. Carter holds two undergraduate degrees in government and journalism from The University of Texas.
During her academic career, she served internships or fellowships with the Heritage Foundation, Center for the Study of the Presidency, American Society for Newspaper Editors, Office of Texas Governor Rick Perry, and USA Today.
