Former Dallas City Councilman James Fantroy won’t admit guilt in embezzlement indictment, will go to prison
After being sentenced for embezzlement -- and showing what the judge called a lack of repentance for his crime -- former Dallas City Council member James Fantroy has decided he won't admit guilt and is thus going to jail for a month for his crime of stealing $21,000 from Paul Quinn College's community development fund.
He's on dialysis so he'll require medical care while in prison.
Oh, and he's also appealing the decision -- so Dallas taxpayers can thank him for costing even more money in various legal proceedings. Talk about graceless exits.

Robert Kelly, says:
The man does a lot of good in his life, then makes a mistake and won't cop to it. How to make a big man a small petty man in one easy step. Well, the end of life rarely brings clarity, I think the fair thing to do is chalk it up to that.

hopefully he won't rack up a big medical bill in prison. he hasn't done a darn bit of good for me and I sure don't want my tax dollars going to support him.
