Jagermeister Tour 2008 feat. Hatebreed
Tuesday night, the spring installment of the twice-annual Jagermeister Music Tour made its stop in Dallas at the Palladium Ballroom. Canada's 3 Inches Of Blood and Abilene's own Negative 263 opened the show while co-headliners were Brooklyn's Type O Negative & Connecticut's Hatebreed.
Negative 263 & 3 Inches of Blood kicked the evening off to a fast-paced start with their mosh-pit inspiring songs. The more relaxed, doom sounds of Type O Negative were welcomed by the Dallas crowd as the venue chanted along with nearly every song.
By the time Hatebreed took the stage (preceded by a toast made by Vinnie Paul in honor of "Dimebag" Darrell) the fans were pumped and seemingly ready to tear the place apart. The always-inspiring lyrics and commands to jump & move around by vocalist Jamey Jasta immediately had the place in a frenzy, as a massive circle pit ensued and never really went away.
This was a great lineup and the show definitely delivered to the fans. It should also be mentioned that the show was being filmed and recorded for Hatebreed's upcoming live album so for those who missed it, well, it looks like you'll still be able to get a taste!
