Progressive talk radio returning to Dallas in July

David Clifton of Rational Radio wanted to let our group in on a BIG scoop before anyone else knows.

Matter of fact, the ink isn't dry yet but it's a done deal!

Progressive talk radio returns full time to Dallas /Ft. Worth on July 1, 2008.

The station is affiliated with our wonderful friends at NovaM and the station will air programs such as: Jones Radio - Stephanie Miller; Nova M - Randi Rhodes and Mike Malloy; and Air America - Thom Hartmann. The exact schedule isn't known yet.

Randi Rhodes and Mike Malloy will make this announcement on Monday

Hate the name Rational Radio - sounds like something the right would come up with.

Substance is all I ask for. Fact driven dialogue. I never did hear that from Al Franken and…Oh, I can’t remember her name. I have only heard snippits of Randy Rhodes so I will have to reserve judgment there. Except to ask - Wasn't Randy Rhodes a guitarist for Ozzy???

I think that Randi Rhodes is the talk show host who did a drunken nose dive off a curb outside a bar last year, knocked some teeth out, and then inferred to a coworker that she had been attacked by a right wing thug. It got reported thus by another host on her station and got some folks really up in arms before she fessed up. More recently she had some really classless remarks about Clinton and those who might vote for her.

Substance, facts, fewer histronics. Not found on any local radio show that I can think of. But we won't find it from Franken, Rhodes, et al either.
