Allegations of forced grade changing continue to come out of DISD high school

Another Roosevelt High School teacher has stepped forward alleging that school administrators tried to force him to give a passing grade to a star football player. According to the Engineering Graphics teacher, the student, Vincent McNeil, quarterback for the Roosevelt football team, hardly showed up to class and was failing, making him ineligible to play. When approached by the assistant principal to change the grade, the teacher agreed provided the student would show up to class more, which he failed to do.

Two teachers at Roosevelt have been outspoken concerning allegations of intimidation and grade changing and neither has been offered a job for the upcoming school year. The Dallas Independent School District claims to be investigating the incident, but, according to many, are progressing incredibly slowly, putting the teachers' careers in jeopardy.

Maybe McNeil should get the Bryan Adams truancy treatment.
