— The Texas Rangers got a big win back home in Arlington Friday night, defeating the Oakland A's 3-1 at Rangers Ballpark to get back to .500. The Rangers are now 28-28, but have been unable to cross the .500 mark since they were 5-4 on April 10th.

Ranger starter Kevin Millwood picked up the win in his first start since coming off the disabled list, pitching six solid innings and giving up just a single run. Millwood gave up five hits, zero walks and struck out five.

Eddie Guardado and Joaquín Benoit both pitched scoreless innings in relief before closer C.J. Wilson finished out the ninth for his eleventh save of the year.

Rookie left fielder Brandon Boggs drove in all three of Texas' runs. Boggs had an RBI double in the bottom of the fourth, a sacrifice fly in the sixth and another RBI double in the bottom of the eighth to ice the game.

Rangers reclamation project Josh Hamilton had a good day at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs scored, including a double off off former Rangers pitcher Justin Duchscherer.
