DALLAS Three pedestrians who'd run a half-marathon on Sunday at White Rock Lake were hit by a car, driven by a woman who could face charges for driving with an invalid license and without valid insurance.
One of the pedestrians was Eric Nelson, 38, an editor at the DMN.
The accident occurred about 11:30 a.m. The driver lost control of the car and her brakes failed. Everyone went to the hospital; Nelson was in intensive care.
